Gurugram, Haryana – – In a significant move aimed at enhancing transparency and safeguarding the interests of homebuyers, promoters in Gurugram will now be required to issue a public notice in a newspaper immediately after applying for project registration with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA).

According to a statement released by RERA Gurugram, this new directive is designed to provide prospective buyers with crucial information at an early stage and to make the overall project registration process more robust and transparent.

RERA Gurugram Chairman, Mr. Arun Kumar, has issued formal orders to the authority’s planning branch to ensure strict compliance with this new requirement. The directive emphasizes that these public notices must be published in newspapers even while the project registration application is still under process by the authority.

“This will help a prospective buyer in many ways, besides it will make the process of project registration more transparent and robust,” the Real Estate Regulatory Authority stated.

The move is expected to empower buyers by giving them timely access to information about upcoming projects, allowing them to make more informed decisions. It also places a greater onus on promoters to ensure all details are accurately represented from the outset of the registration process.
