Jaipur, Rajasthan – The Jaipur Municipal Corporation-Greater (JMC-G) is rolling out new, convenient methods for residents to settle their urban development (UD) tax, including online payment and a doorstep collection service. These measures are designed to enhance the civic body’s revenue generation.

To streamline the payment process, JMC-G is offering several accessible options:

  • Digital Payments: Residents can now directly pay their UD tax and check outstanding balances via the municipal corporation’s official website.
  • Convenient Home Collection: Property owners have the option to arrange for tax collection directly from their residence by contacting a corporation-authorized firm at the toll-free number 1800-572-8545.
  • UPI Integration: A quick and easy payment method is available through any UPI application by scanning the QR code printed on the UD tax bill.

Beyond these individual payment solutions, JMC-G is launching a series of community-based tax collection camps. These will operate on a rotating schedule across all city wards, starting July 1st. JMC-G commissioner Gaurav Saini, following a recent review, instructed officials to conduct these ward-specific camps every 15 days from July 1st through July 31st, with operational hours from 10 am to 5 pm.

Commissioner Saini underscored the necessity of collaboration from ward councillors, public representatives, trade boards, and development committees for the successful execution of these camps. He also mandated that any objections raised during the camps must be resolved on the same day.

To further maximize revenue collection, the UD tax camps are planned for a repeat run in August. Residents attending these camps should ensure they bring all relevant property documents, bills, and any paperwork related to previous objections.
